
Ingredients
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp semolina
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp oil/butter
2 potatoes, boiled
1 medium carrot, grated
½ cup peas
1 tbsp peas and onions, chopped
1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
1 tbsp peanuts, crushed
1 tsp soy sauce

Directions
This is the list of ingredients.

In a pan, heat up some oil.

Add the onions and ginger and garlic paste.

Saute them till the onions turn translucent.

Add the potatoes.

Mix them in thoroughly and cook for a couple of minutes.

Add the carrots and peas.

Next, add the soy sauce.

Then, add the peanuts.

Finally, add the coriander.

Transfer it to a bowl and let it cool down completely.

To make the dough, take a flat plate.

Add the all purpose flour and semolina.

Next, add the salt and oil.

Add water as needed to make the dough.

Knead the dough for a few minutes.

It should look like this once you are done kneading.

Transfer it to a bowl.

Cover it with a plate and let it rest for at least an hour.

Once the dough has rested, grease your hands and take a little dough in it.

Flatten it on a clean work surface.

Roll out the dough with the rolling pin.

Make a thin flat circle.

Take a little of the cooled down filling and shape it into a ball.

Put it in the center of the dough.

Flatten it with both your hands to seal off the edges.

Pinch it from the sealed side to resemble the shape below.

This is how it should look like once its done. It should resemble a modak.

Do the same for the remaining filling and dough.

Deep fry the money bags in hot oil.

Drain off the excess oil on a kitchen towel.

Serve hot.
