
Ingredients
½kg chicken, cut into bite size pieces
2tbsp fish sauce
2tbsp soy sauce
1tsp vinegar
2tbsp palm sugar
3-4 red chilies, chopped fine
3-4 cloves garlic
1 big onion, chopped fine
1½ cup basil
a few pieces of lettuce
¼cup peanuts, chopped
3-4tbsp vegetable oil
spring onions, to garnish
Method
This is a list of ingredients.



Take a clean bowl.

To that, add the chicken.

Then, add the fish sauce.

Next, add the soy sauce.

Add the garlic.

Then, add the ginger.

Add the palm sugar.

Finally, add the vinegar.

Mix everything in and make sure the sauce coats the chicken completely. Marinate the chicken for 4-5 hours, or overnight in the refrigerator.

To a pan, add the oil.

Add the marinated chicken.

Cook the chicken on a medium heat for 4-5 minutes, or till tender.

Then, add the chopped red chilies.


Finally, add the basil leaves.

Mix everything in.

Remove the chicken into a bowl.

To the same pan, add the onions.

Saute the onions till they turn translucent.

Add the cooked chicken to the onions.

Saute for a couple of minutes and take it off the heat.

Remove the chicken out into a bowl and add the peanuts.

Tear out a few pieces of the lettuce.

Make a station with the chicken and lettuce leaves.

Add a little chicken onto one of the lettuce leaves.

From one side of the lettuce, fold the leaf, making sure that the chicken is covered completely.

This is how it should look like when its done. Repeat the same procedure for the other lettuce leaves.

Serve cold with a hot and sour dipping sauce.
