
Ingredients
2 tbsp coriander seeds
4 tbsp ghee
1 small red pepper, cubed
1 small green pepper, cubed
salt, to taste
2 dry red chilies
3 medium onions, chopped fine
1 tbsp carom seeds (ajwain)
2 tbsp ginger and garlic paste
2 medium tomatoes, chopped fine
2 medium tomatoes, pureed
2 tsp garam masala
2 tsp red chili powder
2 tsp coriander powder
2 tsp cumin powder
750 gms chicken, cleaned and cut into 9-10 pieces
1 green chili, deseeded and chopped fine
2 medium onions, cubed
1 cup cream
Method
This is the list of ingredients.




To a pan, add the coriander seeds.

Saute them till they turn a little brown.

Transfer them onto a plate and let them cool completely.

Once cooled, transfer them onto a mortar and pestle.

Bash them until they resemble a coarse powder. You can also use a grinder for this.
Make sure that they are coarsely ground.

To a pan, add 2tbsp ghee.

Add the red and green capsicum.

Then, add the salt and give it a stir.

Cover the pan with a lid and cook on a medium flame for about 5 minutes, making sure to keep stirring every minute or so.

This is how they should look like when done.

In a separate pan, add 2tbsp ghee.

Then, add the red chilies.

Cook them till they turn tender.

Add the onions.

Then, add the carom seeds.

Saute the onions till they turn brown.

Next, add the ginger and garlic paste.

Saute for 2-3 minutes.

Then, add the chopped tomatoes.

Add the tomato puree.

Then, add the freshly ground coriander.

Add the garam masala.

Then, add the red chili powder.

Next, add the coriander powder.

Add the salt.

Then add the cumin powder and give it a good mix.

Add the chicken.


Give it a good mix and cook the chicken till done, stirring occasionally. This should take about 10 minutes.

Next, add the green chilies.


Add the cooked bell peppers.

Next, add the onions.

Finally, add the cream, mix it in and take it off the heat.

Serve hot.
