
Ingredients
120 gms unsalted butter
100 gms sugar
2 eggs
120 all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
a pinch of salt
150 gms dried fruits
4 tbsp unsweetened orange juice
Method
This is a list of ingredients.

To the bowl of dried fruits, add orange juice.

Soak the dried fruits in the bowl overnight.

To another bowl, add the sugar.

Next, add the butter.

Beat the butter and sugar until thick and fluffy.

Next, sieve the flour in.

Then, add the baking powder.

Next, add the salt.

Sieve all of the dry ingredients into the sugar and butter.

Mix them in with an electric beater till you see ripples in your batter.

Add the beaten eggs.

And mix them in.

Finally, add the dried fruits soaked in orange juice.

Mix them in with a spatula.

Butter and flour a cake tin.

Add the batter to the cake tin.

Drop it a few times on to the table to even out the top.

Bake in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes, or till a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.

Let it cool down completely, loosen it from the sides and invert it onto a cake plate.

Serve fresh.

This cake can be stored in an air tight container at room temperature for 4 -5 days, and up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
