Sprouts Salad with Dried Cranberries

Ingredients (for the sprouts)

1 cup sprouts

1 tsp oil

½ tsp cumin seeds

1 medium onion, chopped fine

1 tsp ginger, grated

salt, to taste

½ tsp coriander powder

Ingredients (for the salad)

1½ cups lettuce

1 medium tomato, deseeded and chopped fine

½ cucumber, chopped fine

1 medium carrot, grated

½ medium onion, chopped fine

1 tbsp pumpkin seeds

1 tbsp dried cranberries

½ tsp chaat masala

2 tbsp lemon juice

salt, to taste

Method

This is a list of ingredients.

To a pan, add the oil.

Next, add the cumin seeds.

Saute for a minute and then add the onion.

Next, add the ginger.

Saute till the onion browns a little.

Add the salt.

Next, add the sprouts.

Cook the sprouts for about a minute.

Finally, add the coriander powder.

Mix everything in and take it off the heat.

In a bowl, add the lettuce.

Then, add the tomatoes.

Add the cucumber.

Then, add the carrots.

Add the onions.

Then, add the sprouts.

Add the pumpkin seeds.

Next, add the dried cranberries.

Then, add the chaat masala.

Add the lemon juice.

Finally, add the salt.

Mix everything in.

Serve fresh.
