Eggless Vanilla Cake

Ingredients

1¼ cup all purpose flour

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp baking powder

1 cup milk

1 tbsp vinegar

⅓ cup butter

¾ cup caster sugar

2 tsp vanilla essence

Method

This is a list of ingredients.

To a bowl, add the sugar.

Next, add the butter.

Beat the butter and sugar till light and fluffy.

To that, add the vanilla extract.

And mix it in the butter and sugar. Set aside.

To the flour, add the baking powder.

Next, add the baking soda.

Mix it together.

Sieve this flour into the butter and sugar mixture.

Then, add the milk.

And mix it in.

Just before baking, add the vinegar, mix it in and transfer to a baking pan.

Oil and flour a cake pan and divide the batter into 2 cake tins.

Bake in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes, or till a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let the cakes cool down completely before frosting.

Serve fresh.

This cake will stay at room temperature (without the frosting) for 3-4 days, and up to a week when refrigerated.
