Crispy Fried Prawns

Ingredients

1 cup prawns, deveined and tails removed

1 tsp red chili powder

salt, to taste

juice of one lime

¼ cup all purpose flour

1 egg

¼ cup breadcrumbs

oil, to deep fry

Method

This is a list of ingredients.

To the prawns, add the red chili powder.

Then, add the salt.

Mix them in and add the lemon juice.

Let this marinate for at least for half an hour.

Prepare the breading station with the flour, egg and bread crumbs.

Take one prawn and dip it in the flour.

Coat it on both sides.

Then dip it in the egg.

And then put the prawn in the breadcrumbs.

And then coat it with it completely.

Do the same for the remaining prawns.

And deep fry them till they are golden brown.

Drain off the excess oil on a kitchen towel.

Serve hot.

You can sprinkle some freshly squeezed lemon juice on top before serving.
