
Ingredients
5cups of par boiled idli dosa rice
1cup split urad dal
1tsp fenugreek seeds
salt, to taste
water, as needed
Method
This is the list of ingredients.

Mix the dal and the rice together in a bowl.

Wash it a few times with water and soak it overnight.

In the morning, add them to the grinder.

Add the fenugreek seeds.

And grind into a smooth paste.

Pour the dosa batter into a bowl, and make a dosa station with the below
– dosa batter, water, oil, salt and half an onion with a fork (like in the picture below).

To the batter, add a little water, to make it a little thinner.


Next, add the salt and give it a good mix.

To the remaining water, add oil.

Heat the dosa pan and dip the onion in the oil and water mixture.

Put it on the dosa pan and spread it all around the pan.

Quickly, pour the dosa mixture onto the pan.

And spread it with the back of a spoon to make it into a circle.

Cook on both sides and transfer onto a plate.

Do the same for the remaining batter.

Serve hot with sambhar and chutneys.
