
Ingredients (for the marinade)
500 gms cauliflower, cut into big florets
2 tbsp ginger paste
2 tbsp garlic paste
2 tbsp light soy sauce
½ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp vinegar
3 tbsp tomato sauce
3 tbsp chili sauce
2 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp plain flour
salt, to taste
oil, to deep fry
Ingredients (for the sauce)
3 tbsp cornflour
3 tbsp tomato ketchup
3 tbsp chili sauce
1½ tbsp soy sauce
100ml vegetable stock (you can also use water)
Ingredients (for the chili gobi)
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
2 red chilies, deseeded and cut julienne
½ green capsicum, cubed
½ red capsicum, cubed
½ yellow capsicum, cubed
2 medium onions, cut into cubes
¼ cup spring onions, chopped fine
¼ cup coriander, chopped fine
Method
This is a list of ingredients.


Here are the instructions to marinate the cauliflower.
To a bowl, add the cauliflower.

Then, add the ginger paste.

Next, add the garlic paste.

Add the soy sauce.

Add the black pepper.

Then, add the vinegar.

Next, add the chili sauce.

Then, add the tomato ketchup.

Mix everything together with the cauliflower.

Then, add the plain flour.

Next, add the rice flour.

Add the salt.

And mix everything together. Let it marinate for at least 2-3 hours.

After the cauliflower has marinated, heat oil in a pan, and gently put the cauliflower in.

Deep fry the cauliflower till golden brown.

Drain off the excess oil on to a kitchen towel and set aside.

Below are the instructions to make the sauce.
Take a clean bowl.

To that, add the chili sauce.

Then , add the tomato ketchup.

Add the soy sauce.

Next, add the corn flour.

Finally, add a little vegetable stock or water.

Mix everything in together and set aside.

Finally, below are the instructions to make the chili gobi.
To a pan, add the vegetable oil.

Then, add the garlic paste.

Next, add the ginger paste.

Then, add the red chilies.

Sauté this for a minute on medium heat.

To that, add the red, green and yellow peppers.


Cook the peppers till they turn a little soft.

Then, add the onions.


Cook the vegetables for a few minutes till they turn tender.

Then, add the cauliflower.


Mix all the vegetables together.

And then add the sauce.


Mix the sauce with the vegetables.

Finally, add the spring onions.

Then, add the coriander.


And give it a final mix and take it off the heat

Sprinkle with chopped peanuts on top.

Serve hot.
