Jeera Aloo (Navratri)

Ingredients

3 potatoes, boiled

1tbsp ginger

1tbsp lemon juice

1tbsp coriander powder

1tbsp cumin powder

2tsp cumin seeds

1 green chili, deseeded and chopped

¼cup peanuts (optional)

a big bunch of coriander, to sprinkle on top

pink salt, to taste

Method

Peel and chop the potatoes into large cubes.

To a pan, add oil.

Then, add the cumin seeds.

Saute till the seeds start to crack.

Add the potatoes.

Cook them on a medium flame for a few minutes.

Add the coriander powder.

Then, add the pink salt.

Then, add the peanuts.

Add the cumin powder.

Next, add the green chilies.

Give it a good mix and take it off the heat.

Sprinkle with chopped coriander on top.
