Ingredients
– 1litre milk
– 2tbsp + 1tsp all purpose flour
– 2tbsp milk powder
– 3tbsp sugar
– 2tbsp desiccated coconut
– a few drops of red food colour (optional)
– a handful of chopped pistachios
– water, as needed
Method
This is the list of ingredients.

Add the milk to a non stick pan and bring to a boil.

Take the all purpose flour (2tbsp) and add a little water to it.

Add this to the boiling milk and stir it in.

Then, add the vinegar.

You will see the cheese start to separate out from the whey.

Once it has separated out completely, add cold water to the pan.

Drain the cottage cheese over a cheesecloth, take out the excess water and add it back to a non stick pan.

Add 1tbsp of all purpose flour

Give it a good mix.

Next, add the sugar.

Mix it and make sure the sugar is incorporated into the cottage cheese. It should completely leave the side of the pan.

Remove it out onto a clean plate and let it cool down completely.

Grease your hands, take a little mixture and form it into a ball. Put it into a small cupcake liner.

Do this for the entire mixture. You can add the red food colouring mixed with a little water, at this stage, to decorate.

Sprinkle chopped pistachios on top.

Serve at room temperature or once it has been chilled in the fridge.
