
Ingredients
200 gms mutton, minced
1½ tsp ginger, chopped fine
1½ tsp garlic, chopped fine
½ tbsp green chili, chopped
2 tbsp coriander, chopped
½ onion, chopped fine
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp red chili powder
½ tsp red food colour
1 tsp fried rose petals, crushed
salt, to taste
butter/ghee, melted, to brush on top
Method
This is the list of ingredients.


Finely chop the onions, layer on a cheesecloth and drain out the excess water.


To a bowl, add the mutton.

Next, add the ginger.

Then, add the garlic.

Add the coriander.

Then, add the green chilies.

Add the garam masala.

Add the cumin powder.

Add the red chili powder.

Next, add the salt.

Then, add the coriander powder.

Add the red food colour.

Add the rose petals.


Finally, add the onions.


Give it a good mix and let it marinate for about an hour.

Grease your hands with a little oil.

Take a little mutton on your hands, and flatten it out on a satay stick, so that it covers most of the stick.

Do the same for the remaining mutton.

Take a cake pan.

Layer it with foil.

Add the mutton kebabs on top of the cake pan.

Bake in the oven for about 5 minutes, or till the kebabs have been cooked completely.

Transfer the kebabs onto a plate.

With a pastry brush, brush the kebabs with melted butter or ghee.

This is how the kebabs look like when done.

Sprinkle with chopped coriander on top, and serve on a bed or rice with lemon wedges and chopped onions. Serve hot,
