Ingredients
250gms plain flour
1tsp salt
50gms oil/ghee
oil, to deep fry
water, as needed
Method
This is a list of ingredients.

To a bowl, add the flour.

Then, add the salt.

Next, add the oil.

And give it a good mix.

Finally, add the water.

And make it into a dough.

Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes, and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

Grease the working surface with oil.

Remove out the dough.

With a rolling pin, take some of the dough and roll it into a thin circle.

With a small and round cookie cutter, cut out small circles in the dough.

If you find that the dough is still a little thick, roll the cut out circles and make them a little thinner with the rolling pin.

Take oil in a pan.

Drop the papdi’s in cold oil.

Transfer this pan onto the heat.

And let the papdi’s cook as the oil heats.

Drain off the excess oil and transfer them onto a plate.

These papdi’s can be used in any chaat. Or, they can also be eaten as a snack.

Store them in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
