
Ingredients
2 cups bread flour/high protein flour
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp yeast
¾ tsp salt
2 tbsp butter/oil
1 tbsp milk powder
1tbsp milk + 1tsp sugar, to brush
Directions
This is a list of ingredients.

To the milk, add the sugar.

Then add the yeast.

Give it a stir and let it rest in a warm place for about 10 minutes.

To a bowl, add the flour.

Then, add the milk powder.

Next, add the yeast.


Give it a good mix. The dough should be quite sticky.

Next, add the butter.

Finally, add the salt.

And knead the dough till it turns soft and pliable.

Take a clean bowl.

To that, add a little oil and rub it all around the bowl.

Transfer the dough into the bowl.


Rub a little oil on top and let it rest in a warm place for at least an hour.

Transfer it onto your workplace.


With your fingers, knead the dough a little more.


And form it into a rectangle.

Fold both the edges inside, so that the dough resembles a log.

Cut the dough into equal portions.


Take one portion in your hand.

And form it into a ball.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Place the balls next to each other on the baking tray.


Let it rest for 30-40 minutes or until the dough rises.

Brush it with the milk and sugar mixture.


Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes or till they turn golden brown.

Serve hot.

Notes
If you use a stand mixture, you would need about 8 minutes to knead the dough to get it soft and pliable. Whereas if you knead by hand, it will take about 20-25 minutes.
