
Ingredients
2 cups bread flour
¾ cup dry active yeast
¾ tsp salt
¾ tsp sugar
140 ml water
2 tbsp oil (extra to brush on the breadsticks)
2 tbsp semolina (suji)
Method
This is a list of ingredients.

To a bowl, add the flour.

Then, add the yeast.

Next, add the sugar.

Add the salt.

Add the water.


And knead the dough roughly.


Finally, add the oil.


And knead the dough for about 10 – 15 minutes, till it resembles the below.


Take a bowl, and flatten out the dough in it and let it rest for at least half an hour.

Next, take a board.

Put the dough on it and cut it into strips.

Pick up one strip and roll it between your fingers.

To the same for the remaining dough.

Onto a oven safe plate, sprinkle some semolina.


Gently lay down each stick on it.

Brush the sticks with oil.



Bake in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 15 – 18 minutes, or till the breadsticks have been cooked through.


Serve fresh.

The breadsticks will stay in an air tight container at room temperature for up to a week.
