Ingredients
1 cup all purpose flour
2tsp baking powder
1tbsp ghee
1tbsp kasoori methi (or 2tbsp sautéed fresh methi)
½tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
oil, to deep fry
½ cup water
salt, to taste
Method
This is the list of ingredients.

To a bowl, add the flour.

Then, add the ghee.

Next, add the kasoori methi.

Add the salt.

Then, add the baking powder.

Add the carom seeds.

Finally, add the water.

Knead it into a soft dough.

Grease a work surface with oil.

Take a little dough (as much as you would take to make a chapati).

Roll it onto the greased surface to form a thin chapati.

Using a serrated knife, cut it into the desired shape.

Cover with a damp cloth.

Heat oil in a pan.

Drop one strip to check if the oil is hot enough.

Add the namak pare and deep fry till golden brown.

Remove them onto a plate and drain off the excess oil.

Let them cool down completely and store them in a air tight container for up to a few weeks.
