1 cup semolina (suji)
3/4 cup sugar
3 cups water
1/2 mixed nuts and raisins
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/2 cup ghee
a pinch of saffron
Method
This is the list of ingredients.

In a clean pot, add the water.

Then, add the sugar.

Next, add the raisins.

Finally, add half the cardamom.

Bring this to a boil.

In a separate pan, add the ghee.

Melt it on a medium flame.

Next, add the semolina.

Stir it into the ghee completely.

Roast it on a medium flame till the mixture browns.

Once the mixture has browned, add the nuts.


Stir these in completely, and add the hot sugar mixture very gently.

Cook it on a low flame for a few minutes more till the mixture thickens. Then, add the remaining cardamom.

Sprinkle a little saffron on top. Serve hot.
