Garam Masala

Ingredients

100 gms cumin seeds

3-4 cinnamon sticks

2 pieces of nutmeg

25 gms black pepper

1 star annise

20 green cardamoms

20 black cardamoms

5-6 bay leaves

Method

This is a list of ingredients.

Add all of the ingredients to a non stick pan.

Roast them for about 10 minutes, shaking in between, till you can smell the aromas of the spices.

Transfer them to a grinder and grind them into a fine powder.

The garam masala can be stored in an airtight container for up to a few months.
